Just wanted to further share a comment I made to whomever runs the Google Android OS account on facebook recently...

So it seems that Symantec is making one of those Epic Stupid decisions that just cant be replicated outside of an ostrich putting its head in the sand.

Seems a file named Pifts.exe has been trying to phone home for some folks and they traced it back to Symantec. Evidently Symantec views Pifts.exe as some dirty little secret and deleted the posts and accounts that these people made in Symantec's forums..

Ok, lets face it the sinking ship that is our economy is going down faster than an intern at the White House during the Clinton administration. One of the ways that the creators of consumer products is coping with this is by shrinking your product sizes quietly, without fanfare and charging you the same price. If you weren't aware of this practice take a look at The Consumerist and their section on the shrinking sizes of the products you use.

No problem controlling shopping urge at WalMart, at least for prescriptions in the future. Matter of fact 2 days ago we were there to pick up 3 prescriptions for my daughter. Dropped them off at 3:40 and they said they would be ready in an hour and 15 mins. My wife being frugal asked if there were generics of any of the prescriptions, they said yes the liquid antibiotic had a generic and they wold be happy to issue that. So we came back at 5:00. They then quoted us 5:15 (wife started to get angry).

Well the likes of AT&T have been lined up at the gate for what 2 or 3 years now? And here it goes. The race that is to see who can screw consumers faster. The FTC has decided since there hasn't already been a "significant market failure" that we don't need protection from every tom dick and harry setting up a tool booth on the information super highway. Thats right they want to charge you more for faster and/or more data and our government has just given them the green flag.

Ok this just fries me, it's sad, very sad.

A mother of three who was accused of illegally sending her children to school in Marietta was found not guilty Friday on felony charges.

Prosecutors claimed that Jeanine Echols, who lives in Cobb County, lied repeatedly to the government about her address because she wanted her children to attend better schools in the Marietta school district. Instead of using the address where she and her children live, Echols used the address of her husband's family.

So it begins. Secure in its now expanded monopoly, AT&T is beginning to curtail just what services you can access. Why? Well because they cost them too much.

So they have run a sale that was high discounts on there child shoes. Mistake number one for a small company. mistake 2 they have NO way for you to track your order. once it's placed it's in space some where. 3rd mistake for them there 800 number sounds like a bad cheap answering machine. 4th mistake when you try to leave a message all the voice mail boxs are full. WTH!!! so you start to email them because getting a live person on the phone isn't going to happen in my life time i am sure. below in this rant i will call it is the emails back and forth to i am guessing are the staff at darlingshoes.com!

Ok I admit on this one I may be partly at fault. A little over a year ago my wife and I bought our first house. It was hell, pure and simple, from insurance to mortgage, to closing etc. Before we moved in we did some home improvement. We painted the house and cleaned carpets and installed some ceiling fans. Now I admit I didn't keep ever receipt we generated and some were probably tossed while we moved in.

The fans are Hampton Bay fans, what I thought to be a reputable, reliable brand who stood behind their product with a Lifetime Warranty. HAH. Read on...
